I'm not sure when is Father's day. So I would like to Wish all fathers all around the world a happy advanced/belated Fathers Day!
Well, sad to say, I've never had the chance to wish my own dad, nor to celebrate it with him, but here is a poem I made specially for him, on how special he is to me. But it's in Malay:
Siapa dirimu usah ditanya
kerana bagiku engkaulah segalanya
meski kau tiada disisi, cintamu dapat ku rasai
jarak yang memisahkan, membuat hati semakin rawan
untuk kau kembali hanyalah satu mimpi
kenangan bersama bermain di bingkai mata
engkaulah insan bergelar Ayah.
Hanya dua tahun kita bersama
begitu singkat waktu dirasa
zahirmu ku tatap dalam gambar
menjadi butir pengubat duka
meski di dunia kita tak dapat bersama
semoga kita disatukan di dalam syurga.
My love for you, will never ever change nor would it fades from my little heart. So are the others in our family, Dad. You're someone who left behind no-ending sorrows, someone who nobody could replace, no substitute for a SPECIAL person like you, you're someone noone could forget. Too bad, nobody gave me the chance to feel your love, to get blessings from you every morning that other child gets, never get to see you smile, never get to hear you laugh, I swear it wasn't easy to grow up to this age without a father's love. It took me courage, even if it hurts, to look at your photos and stuffs. Thanks to my family members, they gave me the will to grow up, especially mum, it was not easy growing up three young kids alone. She's strong, and so am I. Standing strong, wishing to meet you in heaven. Wonder if it would ever be granted. I love you so much, even to say it out that I love you as much as I can, it would never end.
